We do not sell your information. We take your privacy and the protection of your personal information seriously. Over the last year we have moved away from paper records and toward secure electronic records. Old records will be destroyed after the retention period required by the government.

There is a balance we need to strike between security of data and safety of your children. Up to date medical, allergies, and contact information are crucial to have on file in the event of an emergency. We collect and store that data safely in a secure cloud based solution.

We make our best efforts to only store credit card and payment data with PCI compliant companies such as Jackrabbit Technologies and the payment processors listed above.

Your email address is used to send you electronic receipts, communication directly related to your account and children’s classes, and also marketing materials for other classes we offer. There is an opt-out link in every group email we send. If you unsubscribe you may miss some important studio news and marketing material, but we reserve the right to still send you email we believe to be crucial to your children’s enjoyment of their classes such as information on the year end shows or lesson cancellations due to inclement weather. Electronic receipts may also be sent regardless of opt-out status.
How you can help keep your data safe:
Only update your credit card information by using our secure parent portal at: http://portal.danceexpress.ca or let us update it for you at the front desk.
Change your password for the parent portal after you log in for the first time and keep your password private. Longer passwords are more secure. Changing your password periodically is more secure.
Let us know if your account looks incorrect or you see any unusual activity on your credit card associated with Dance Express Inc. We are obligated to report any payment information security breaches to the processor involved.
